glory

To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen.

Sometimes there is conflict at work as to who gets credit for a good result. "Wait a minute, I did all the work, and yet my manager is taking all the credit. That's not fair!"

Fairness is not an issue in regards to our good works in the sight of God. We should never take credit. We do not have anything that we have not received. Jesus is the vine, we are but the branches. All growth is the result of the sap that flows to us through Jesus. It is Jesus who brings glory to God. We are only "saints" that have been set apart by God to do right through Jesus. God gets all the glory. He glorifies Jesus, and Jesus glorifies His Father.
