Yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we [live] for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.

Wow, you talk about an overarching mediator! Look out your window. Everything you see came into being through Jesus. Now count your breaths. Each one came through Jesus. Jesus is God.

Jesus also became man. Oh, glorious truth! He can empathize with our weakness and suffering, having put on our flesh. He "walked a mile in our shoes" and yet without sinning. Who could ask for a better mediator?

Jesus is the life. He is our life. No one has the ability to approach the Heavenly Father unless Jesus is their mediator.
