But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

We win! That was the headline at the end of World War II. The Allies overcame the tyrannical dictators of the Axis. Through much sacrifice and suffering, the last enemy was conquered. Prisoners who had been captured were set free.

Jesus is our overwhelming Ally. Through Him we have the victory. We have victory over our circumstances. We have victory over the darkness of our spiritual enemies. And we have victory over the final enemy, death.

We win! Through Jesus.
